Welcome to Katatao's West Highland White Terriers

From the first time we saw a picture of a West Highland White Terrier in a dog magazine, we knew this was going to be the breed of our lives. Our first westy came from Ireland in 1993 and his call name was Capricho, that in Spanish means 'caprice' as it was a gift for my wife. Since then, more westies have join our family and unfortunately, some of them are in our loving memory. We started breeding under Katatao's kennel name since 1996.

We are a family in Spain devoted to our dogs. We breed very occasionally so we plan very carefully our litters. Our puppies are raised in our own bedroom, just aside our bed, so they can be monitorized 24/7. All our dogs sleep inside our house, we don't have kennels as first of all, our dogs are family dogs.

Due to our work, we can't show as frequently as we liked but everytime we go to a show, our westies get always very good results.
